Well, hey, look at that: we’re in Saskatchewan. Home to many awesome people & things, including us now! That’s right, Heather & i will be putting down roots in Hanley, Saskatchewan, which is where Heather grew up. It’s about 60 km south of Saskatoon, so it’s close enough for Heather to commute to her new job with MCC SK & for us to visit friends.
We left for Saskatchewan about two weeks ago. We then spent one week there together doing various things; celebrating Ruth Ewen’s (Heather’s grandma) 90th birthday, planting a garden, slowly unpacking stuff, cooking, & of course, getting re-acquainted with the farm cats. Then i left for five weeks of learning luthiery.
After many years of being more temporary in our communities around the world, we are indeed putting down roots. Let’s see what grows!
